[00:00:41] We got some great episodes, great moments to discuss.

[00:01:05] Now of course today is a special day, not just us finishing Prodigy,

[00:01:11] but I did want to mention that I have been Mark Safe from the Bill rights.

[00:01:16] No bar.

[00:01:17] This is the date that Gabriel Bell is that was when us Cisco and Bashir

[00:01:26] and DAX all just zoomed over to the, you know, 2024.

[00:01:33] And yeah so far we are A. Okay.

[00:02:04] and I was like I'm going to steal it and give her a shout out.

[00:02:07] And she just had like major surgery last week so she's kind of down for the count

[00:02:11] at the moment so I hope you're feeling better Danny and we miss you over at the YouTube,

[00:02:17] you know, community.

[00:02:19] But yeah so I don't have to kind of put this together real fast

[00:02:25] because it's been a really lovely, with work.

[00:02:29] So hopefully I can still remember all of this where you're able to watch any of it this time

[00:02:34] Jay. I know you've been struggling.

[00:02:38] So yeah so I've like last week I just been rereading this and off to.

[00:02:43] So just to clarify anyone for anyone out there I have seen them.

[00:02:48] I have watched them. Absolutely.

[00:02:50] I have watched them.

[00:02:52] Just the rewine it is Canada's deal with airing prodigy.

[00:02:59] We got we got shafted so that sucks but there's always a work around

[00:03:06] and that's all I'll say on that but but we did watch it and everyone is just around

[00:03:13] it's fine. Yeah yeah yeah so hopefully you know hopefully if there's a season

[00:03:20] three, hopefully there's a bit of a better deal like just I think you've heard me say this

[00:03:25] before I don't understand how you film to Star Trek now it's going to be three because of a

[00:03:34] Academy right you film these series.

[00:03:37] And I were from my house and there's you know Star Trek prodigy isn't accessible.

[00:03:46] You would think there's some kind of deal that you guys would get you know we're going to use your

[00:03:50] landstay and you guys get to watch you know pretty much I put it on just put it on Netflix

[00:03:56] if that's whatever everybody else that's what should should do CTV sci-fi has the

[00:04:04] idea of what you're doing. But I mean how do I access that I don't even know it's

[00:04:08] yeah it's a struggle I don't even know I have nine billion streaming services and I don't

[00:04:15] know as do we have any more subscriptions and things do I need to pay for it

[00:04:20] or watch something so I mean the other reason why I have paramount plus is because of

[00:04:24] Star Trek and the fact that I get a Beverly Crusher icon so that's really

[00:04:28] a reason why I have it. It's $15 worth the money and Netflix I already got for free

[00:04:37] so that's cool. I already had Hulu so Disney just kind of took over and I was like

[00:04:41] yeah all right and that's it. I had to cut off everything.

[00:04:44] What's so like I can't do anymore.

[00:04:47] You got to draw the line a little bit yeah.

[00:04:52] So let's go ahead and jump right in. So episode 16 was a sentient to

[00:05:07] public.

[00:05:50] Jayway to tie some what's happening down there.

[00:05:53] So action packed as usual because this is part two from the last you know we were doing

[00:05:59] episode 15 so it was part one and it was still going you know a sense of the attack

[00:06:04] you know all right and all right. And it was so good.

[00:06:04] Hello everyone. Well it gives us a false future.

[00:06:08] As we can see here Tysus gets old which reminds me I put

[00:06:12] parentheses Polaski because everyone knows she had gotten old in a natural

[00:06:15] selection and season two.

[00:06:18] So yeah lots of stuff going on. I think I don't know about you but when the

[00:06:25] down of it wasn't a bomb but the countdown was going. It reminded me of like Mario Kart

[00:06:32] when you're getting ready to go and it's just that's a piece of it.

[00:06:36] I thought you were going to wait till it's between the yellow and the green lights that you

[00:06:39] get the little boost at the-

[00:06:40] Go, that boost yeah! That's what I was like oh go yeah! But the one thing that I noticed especially

[00:06:46] in this clip, Taisus has this thing of protecting the ensigns, the cadets right? He was very upset

[00:06:55] with you know losing a shell when he was on the away team, who was upset about losing middle

[00:07:00] 10 like he is very passionate about protecting these kids. I will say that that is a character

[00:07:07] that absolutely has grown on me. He was a bit of a dick. I will say and you know I feel like

[00:07:17] by the end of this season he's becoming one of my favorite characters I think.

[00:07:24] He's earned a lot of respect for Shari. They've just shown him in the one light and now you're

[00:07:30] seeing that there's more to him than just having a lot of attitude and stuff. He seemed very

[00:07:39] almost I think protective maybe of Janeway and kind of limiting and a limit to the access and stuff right?

[00:07:45] He just kind of rubbed everybody the wrong way and then seeing this scene I think.

[00:07:52] I was I thought that was it. I thought we were losing him there. Like so did I?

[00:07:59] Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah and I'm like no I'm starting to like this guy don't get rid of him now

[00:08:04] I was like you know really the counselor because the calcica did that here for I'll talk more about

[00:08:10] him later because it was different things where I was like

[00:08:14] structure like to make you like these characters you kind of are the last second and then

[00:08:19] open off rip shot. Yes yes RIP shot but he will come back I have faith. I do think though

[00:08:30] that was interesting how Wesley being captured in everything he was showing he gave her

[00:08:40] a glimpse of the future and it was not even the right one right like he was calling with

[00:08:46] or even though he was being tortured and stuff like that I was like ah Wesley just like your mother.

[00:08:51] Even in the horrible times he's still like I'm going to still place him sarcastic jokes on you.

[00:08:57] I do want to talk a little bit more though on with this case because everything was decaying

[00:09:02] and stuff zero. You know zero knew they were going to lose their body. Zero knew that it was just

[00:09:11] inevitable so they thought minus well go out in a blaze of glory and try to save everybody.

[00:09:21] I didn't want to have them lose their body so soon. I felt like it happened pretty quickly at that

[00:09:27] maybe it should have lost it closer to the end because I really liked zero's body I thought it was

[00:09:33] pretty cool but I and then it was like blank and there it is they they were losing their body so

[00:09:42] quickly because it was just what three episodes ago that they got it so yeah yeah I think we said

[00:09:47] that last week too I think how fast like how fast the trouble episode yeah yeah how fast this is

[00:09:56] going on but also just thinking about how like do we know zero's age I know like I think they're

[00:10:05] probably older than the other kids but not really like mature wise but but age wise probably

[00:10:12] I don't know yeah I like this idea you know they they make this this body for themselves because

[00:10:18] they want to to live that more caporial life and it's kind of what they've wanted always right

[00:10:26] but to to you know even though the body was failing you know to just how noble of a sacrifice it is

[00:10:36] to to give that all up to just save everybody right yeah yeah and it was kind of like

[00:10:46] it was cut that close right and even zero had reached out to Jankham and it was like I'm going

[00:10:53] to need that body expected you know what for Jankham he was kind of all over the place because

[00:11:01] they needed him to do this and this and now something has to create a body for for zero so

[00:11:05] this was definitely a good like action packed episode to finish off that two part or two kind

[00:11:12] of continue the rest of the story but there was just a lot happening and I remember telling you

[00:11:19] I think it was last week that that weapon of whatever that a sensey I made reminded me of the

[00:11:29] strike because of how pointy the ends were yeah and so we've seen more of that and is it a ship

[00:11:39] I'm not really sure how that works I guess but I did like how when you know Dall joins the

[00:11:50] Nova Squadron so Michelle and her friends because one of them got hurt they needed an

[00:11:55] of the pilot she's like Dall can do it let's go. I had this independent stay moment with Michelle

[00:12:02] where because they pulled that thing out of the wager that zero was able to take off

[00:12:11] and it was starting to follow Michelle and so she's aiming towards the thing and then she goes up

[00:12:17] and then it goes and it destroys this so I was like oh yeah the shield a plane

[00:12:31] did not you know sacrifice but yeah I think that whole action sequence was good there was a lot

[00:12:39] going on again Star Wars X-Wings like Death Star like all of it it was just one of those things where

[00:12:48] I'm just like okay this is cool but it's nice to see those smaller ships you know or even just what

[00:12:55] Wesley he was well he was Nova Squadron right so I mean it's nice to see that other side instead of

[00:13:03] just shuttles you know roundabouts and you know ships like brightler ships you know like class

[00:13:09] starships so it's just kind of yeah these are more like fighter almost like a legit style

[00:13:15] Starfighters right what did you think about the Boothby supernova love the name

[00:13:23] I love it's like did he do it I know I

[00:13:30] I just got it so let's do all body I they're just constantly naming stuff after Boothby which I think is a

[00:13:36] I mean nice little tribute time yeah that's fine I like it but like I said a lot of action lots of going on

[00:13:46] and then of course you know as we get into the next episode it starts making a little bit more sense about

[00:13:55] what was happening especially with Wesley's capture right was there anything that stuck out in this to this second part

[00:14:04] that you were like oh I really I liked that you know I just the again that see that we that we watched kind of

[00:14:16] was almost trumpets I think is I saw your face like you're watching it you're like yeah like oh god

[00:14:22] you're making you're making me relive of all the scenes you're gonna make me watch this when again yeah

[00:14:26] I did like it was great and it reminded me of of something specific from discovery you haven't seen

[00:14:36] discovery yet right I have not but I'm I totally find what spoiler sits up uh do I want spoiled but

[00:14:43] a certain lady admiral that has a scene kind of similar to this that well reminds me of of this and

[00:14:51] so I thought that's why I thought he was done he was gone he was he was gonna save the

[00:14:56] sense and and that was it so but yeah no it was another good episode you can start feel that

[00:15:03] because you're we're in the you know the final act of the season you can feel the pacing start to

[00:15:09] to quick and a bit in the stakes yeah especially here with this episode now and and seeing these people

[00:15:16] aging and stuff right um well because we didn't know really what a sensei it was doing we didn't even

[00:15:22] know what I'm gonna say it again neither did she so like she was it's so far over her head

[00:15:29] I can't wait till we get to the last episode here right like I think I would the one was I think

[00:15:36] maybe it's the next episode I was watching it and I was I was deeming you at the same time and

[00:15:40] I was like she doesn't even know what she's talking about like just as it's a bunch of

[00:15:46] she's getting into the techno battle but doesn't under the techno world yeah every other trek

[00:15:52] character even though the the audience is like whatever um the trek character knows what they're

[00:15:59] talking about where she's just a bit right yeah yeah but that was the point that's the point

[00:16:06] of her is she was she was so into her vengeance yeah she blinded one and to take over she was blinded by

[00:16:13] it yeah so well that go ahead and bring us up to the next episode which was gonna bring traumatized me again

[00:16:22] what's happening I guess we'll find out wait wait where are the others others the one with the

[00:16:30] purple tingle dangle them the little one who argues and that the Vulcan they want to save Elteron

[00:16:37] what no no no no this this was not part of the strategy I split the crew it was the only way to save

[00:16:44] you and Elteron no no no no no from the fairy beginning I've been telling you you have to stay together

[00:16:52] you and team spirit unified in our purpose no I meant never separate it wasn't going to let my

[00:17:01] father die you said soul of need him built the run would have been safe if you'd sent the

[00:17:06] protostar through the wormhole he would have led the overthrow of Ascencia but now I have no idea

[00:17:14] we're on the wrong path the future is uncertain I am lost I made the wrong choice

[00:17:25] how are you doing I've got you know what I have to say will we did some great acting in that scene

[00:17:33] good that part when he's like I have no idea and his voice cracks even here the almost panic in

[00:17:41] voice it was it was really funny yeah or even the confusion in the beginning where he's like that

[00:17:46] the purple tingle dangle fan just like where where is everybody like he's started you could

[00:17:51] start to see him you was twenty two I'm listening when he's explaining like I mean like never separate

[00:17:59] like actually stick together and I'm just thinking like like Wes man if they didn't understand that

[00:18:04] on you you weren't clear right but also zero's new suit looks fantastic oh yes I love the I love the

[00:18:15] plastic yeah yeah and you know and the fact that zero can now feel right has the senses so that was

[00:18:25] interesting again it's not that I don't hate the suit it it brings back to the old look but upgraded

[00:18:31] that's awesome just wish we had the body just a little bit longer no absolutely absolutely I just

[00:18:37] think it's certainly an improvement over the but it is yeah great thank you Jacob knows what he's doing

[00:18:43] now of course the beginning of this episode does explain that the moment Wesley had blown up that

[00:18:49] planet when he sent everybody off to go get chicote he lands in solum and he's trying to tell a

[00:18:56] and see yeah you don't know what the hell you're doing of course he gets captured and she uses his

[00:19:04] mind traveling power to create weapons okay so he's being tortured for months I think it said

[00:19:16] and that's where of course went had to make the decision of like okay we're gonna go to solum

[00:19:21] and figure this out I'm gonna split the team this I think was I believe it was this episode where

[00:19:30] Gwen had gone to that meeting with Janeway and her senior officers and the counselor was all like

[00:19:37] who invited the kid to the adult table and she's like the admiral did it's like set down counselor I really

[00:19:50] am just saying I did I don't yeah he was even worse than what's the commander's name again why

[00:19:58] am I drawing a blank tight tight tight it's tices yeah he was yeah he's even he's even worse

[00:20:06] get it I don't get it but I like I like this sorry this is the episode where we find out like

[00:20:13] everything that's kind of happened and all the crap Wesley's been through was all part of the plan

[00:20:18] all part of the plan which is what they found out just prior to this because they went saved him and

[00:20:23] he was like oh you guys got here earlier than I expected you know yeah because it's like he started

[00:20:29] drawing out his equations like mine was like I don't understand this so yeah

[00:20:38] they did do something I've planted a cloak bubble

[00:20:44] so when all the kids arrived at Solam and they had to hide and they're all yeah and everything

[00:20:51] and it was like what is going up but they're all like trying to move around but and then that's

[00:20:57] when they meet good asincia who's like I hate my bad self we gotta do some I don't want to become this

[00:21:03] chick right here's the interesting part when you're kind of looking at it in that direction

[00:21:07] this good asincia is like oh my gosh this is my future like they had to save her just as much as

[00:21:15] they had to save Solam yes because that was her path and she's like I'm gonna do whatever it takes

[00:21:20] to make sure that I don't end up like this crazy person yeah it was like it was a battle for

[00:21:26] Solam's like survival but it was just a soul right right exactly here's my question and I'm

[00:21:34] gonna maybe break both our brains here because it's another paradox issue but isn't the moment

[00:21:40] that she decides that that she's not going to become that person doesn't that change the future

[00:21:49] it I think it depends on it all depends I know I think it depends on when what broker

[00:21:57] to make that decision so she hadn't gone through that yeah but but now she has right she's seen

[00:22:03] but I guess it becomes a chicken and egg thing too right like if she hadn't seen herself like that

[00:22:09] she never would so then it can't cease to I don't I'm already confused what's your ear can

[00:22:14] use in yourself it's fine it's fine but I think it's also because she so typically what happens is

[00:22:21] you know everything we go through shapes this into who we are she hasn't actually had gone through

[00:22:29] horrible things yet to shape her into this bad as soon as yet so as for now she's like

[00:22:36] I don't know what the hell's going on I don't want to become this bad person

[00:22:40] it's because she hasn't been through those traumas yet right maybe when she's been through

[00:22:45] those things now who she is now will actually fight that and yeah hopefully

[00:22:51] not exactly exactly but I think those bad traumas that she went through was because Solam was

[00:22:57] destroyed and still him broke you know collapse and things like that and so if they actually

[00:23:02] stopped that then none of those bad things were going to happen to the Cynthia so you said I'm sorry

[00:23:09] but as you said it was not only about or to save Solam it was also saved her soul

[00:23:16] through the process and even Iltheron because he was a nice guy right no but

[00:23:23] he was his different character because he hadn't gone through all those traumas yet

[00:23:28] and so he's going through a different path which is where those paradoxes kind of kind of fit in

[00:23:33] but because then when goes and splits the team that's what's interesting is that now

[00:23:40] they could have gone down those dark paths because she made the wrong choice and it's funny

[00:23:44] because you know Dow kept doubting himself about being a captain but he was like I don't think we should

[00:23:50] split and she's like no no no we have to we have to do it this way but because he saw that

[00:23:56] spoiler of his future he thought oh well maybe she's right which is why Wesley was like

[00:24:01] don't spoil yourself because it's going to have you make the wrong decisions so it literally just

[00:24:08] it was a whole circle of chaos of them because they they saw too much they knew too much

[00:24:15] they were making the wrong choices because they thought that this happened it was going to go.

[00:24:19] I also still personally think that being the captain is is still something in Dow's future I

[00:24:26] think I think what he's doing is going through some some important lessons some lesson learning

[00:24:35] I guess yeah to get him one of that fast drive for it yeah oh yeah you wanted that fast drive

[00:24:42] just be captain without having to get yeah he's typical hurdles millennial jensee just instant

[00:24:50] go do it I want it now yeah so go fast there we go that's where it came from but of course

[00:24:59] you know when they rescued Wesley and they figured out this is all part of the Wesley's plan as we see

[00:25:04] it got messed up and he didn't know what to do and he was so lost that Wesley was just like

[00:25:09] I don't even know how to to guide them at this point because I don't even know where we're at no

[00:25:16] of course Dow and Ilthoron and everybody had got captured they were able to send Wesley and Ilthoron

[00:25:22] back on Voyager but then the rest of him had stayed on Solum and then of course that's when

[00:25:27] Wesley had collapsed and it was just because his brain was drained of all of his traveler powers

[00:25:35] to before some to make the whole you know wormhole and the weapons and everything that he needed

[00:25:41] needed to do it was kind of traumatizing though to see Wesley kind of go through all that

[00:25:46] but those were always the things that I liked the most because I've said this before I like

[00:25:53] saying very strong characters kind of go through a really tough time because you just get to see

[00:26:00] just how strongly are how they get out of it. One of the other day that's that's where

[00:26:08] character development comes from too right it comes from. Yes, yeah, you know the bad as well as

[00:26:14] the good not just. Right everything being in there and some rainbows but I mean and that's why

[00:26:20] season three of the card was so good because we saw Beverly just broken. Right so seeing her broken

[00:26:28] and trying to make the right decisions even though she was doubting herself she was like

[00:26:34] she had no more F's to give at this point so that's where you know it made it more interesting

[00:26:42] to see where she was headed. Yeah and you know just as you're saying that too I

[00:26:49] because I know you and I've talked about this many times with just that that scene in Picard

[00:26:52] where they're finally it reunited right on the bridge and and just that all that that I

[00:26:58] acting that they do that you love so much in that scene and you know in that moment you can tell

[00:27:04] you know the audience knows immediately yes that's your kid but you can also see the look on

[00:27:10] her face is very much like I've been carrying this bird in a loan and I need you to carry it with me

[00:27:15] now. Right like they do you can see how how how worn out she is and you know I love look at

[00:27:21] her I will get there I want to jump too far ahead but you know I love that we at least get to

[00:27:25] hear here little Jack in a separate way. And let's say about that scene yeah so let's continue

[00:27:35] shall we so we can get to that point so after this so you know they kind of did a little soap

[00:27:42] proper thing so we see the ending of Wesley and Elthoron landed on Voyager and he collapses

[00:27:49] and then in the next episode you see a little bit with Janeway and Chicote having a

[00:27:57] little moment they're getting called on the bridge and then that's when they see Elthoron and Wesley

[00:28:03] and he collapses and I call that a soap opera theme because they typically will do that you'll see

[00:28:07] the ending of a soap opera episode and it will begin at the same way so that just kind of remind me

[00:28:13] that but the next episode was touch of grace. His neural pathways have been considerably damaged by

[00:28:20] a sentience mind extractions this level of neurologic shock would have taken down anyone else

[00:28:27] you'll be in you Mr. Crusher you'll survive this critical stimulator shouldn't build your

[00:28:32] neural peptides as for your unique abilities I'm afraid they won't be returning anytime soon

[00:28:39] time will tell it always does what happened down there where is the protostar crew and why were you

[00:28:47] there in the first place Wesley allowed himself to be caught so since he had good finisher

[00:28:52] temporary whipping me he was a nudged events so those kids could use her tech to create a wormhole

[00:28:59] and send the protostar back we couldn't do it without her wedding it had to happen that way

[00:29:04] now that ascensee is captured them we're an uncharted territory for the first time in

[00:29:12] in a while I'm in the dark like everyone else oh my god okay real quick I just have to say

[00:29:18] I like you're sitting there and it's all doom and gloom conversation and Jane way storms

[00:29:22] and demanding answers it's like man read the room hey she's concerned okay he's like look I

[00:29:33] was with my crew now I'll sign you to show it up on my bridge without them what the heck man so

[00:29:39] what was funny though is that because Wesley has been alone for so long right he's just been

[00:29:45] what the travelers this is the first time he's being yelled at by a mom that's true that's very true

[00:29:50] you need like like like he was a mom like he got in trouble he was a stupid teen and and took

[00:29:57] dead's car and crashed into a tree and she's getting shit like I nudge events and she's like

[00:30:02] what were you thinking like it was just kind of one of those moments did this scene reminds

[00:30:08] you a bit of again amazing how these guys in and you know the folks behind Kota never

[00:30:17] like entered but this just reminded me of of the scene when older Wesley comes back

[00:30:24] memory in collapses on the bush layer fifth okay like in the first book where he collapses

[00:30:28] in the beach and they get them and then and then I just this just seen just had a lot of those vibes

[00:30:34] especially doctors talking about your your powers aren't going to return anytime soon which

[00:30:39] right as as he's the doctor you know that means it's like maybe never

[00:30:46] yeah that's his gentle way of saying it yeah I don't know just seen just had some of those vibes

[00:30:52] there and I was again worried where things were going to be going because I mean it has that vibe

[00:30:58] throughout because even with the other books you know so I was asking you 300 oh Wesley or 50

[00:31:05] oh Wesley because it was very very future Wesley that died that that was on the beach and then

[00:31:12] younger Wesley which is the 50 year old which would sort of be this one I think he's supposed to be

[00:31:17] late 30s early 40s in this but what was what was funny though it was just he has no idea what's

[00:31:25] going on he doesn't even know what's gonna happen just like how it wasn't the book he had no idea

[00:31:30] what was gonna happen because he's like I don't know what my future fells was trying to tell me so

[00:31:34] we're gonna have to just play it by ear so it had that vibe couldn't you know all over the place

[00:31:41] I did like with Wesley because you're starting to see his growth in the sense that he was

[00:31:48] with the traveler so long and now he has to work as a team right he has to work without his powers

[00:31:54] he was so used to them just been like thought I'm good I'm good to go now he has to think

[00:32:00] out of the box and just trying to figure out the situation with other people with him so you know

[00:32:06] they created the team they're like let's go down there we're gonna try and figure it out

[00:32:09] and it was nice to see that kind of character grow for Wesley kind of having a step back into his

[00:32:17] old shoes yeah yeah in a genuinely even reminds him of this right that he used to be

[00:32:25] yeah start lead officers so start eating like one again kind of a thing right yeah I mean just

[00:32:31] that later on when they were down on the surface right and some of the some of the greatest scenes

[00:32:35] with Wesley were him data and and Jordy you know around the the was it the pool table in

[00:32:41] in engineering sawing those problems right together right so it's nice to see him slide into

[00:32:48] that again a little bit instead of just right timing why me magic stuff exactly and you know we

[00:33:23] I mentioned this before when I did my my quick reaction review bonus episode where he she was like

[00:33:31] I had the chance to speak to your mother and he's like how is she and he's she's like you should

[00:33:36] ask her yourself and I was like Janeway is all of us in that moment because he just does this

[00:33:43] guilt he looked like I just got in trouble and her face was like like she looked mad she's all

[00:33:51] like you better call your mom um so and then of course he's flying and he says he hasn't done it

[00:33:58] while and of course he has to go down and they split off because then the Dr has to become Janeway

[00:34:04] so they can cause a distraction because the kids are now stuck with the loom that got captured

[00:34:10] and that was sad to me I'm not gonna lie because the loom is scared it was like a cage animal and

[00:34:16] I was like sitting yeah it was like it was like being made to do

[00:34:20] yeah I think she is bidding and didn't really understand why

[00:34:25] we're a yeah and even zero had said I I can sense it and it's afraid and I was like oh

[00:34:34] yeah I make sure I am but still sad I can't remember I think more like animals they're not

[00:34:41] they weren't like sentient I mean honestly if you kind of think they're they're just

[00:34:48] their hunters to feed right they're just yeah they're doing what comes naturally

[00:34:54] again more like more like animals within it's like like you said like an animal in a cage

[00:34:58] we're being held captive in a zoo or something right exactly yeah and I don't know

[00:35:06] I was happy that it did escape I was like go loom just don't eat people but yeah it was

[00:35:13] just one of those things where I was just like okay this is really sad because they eat

[00:35:17] they even felt bad because they're like maybe we should try and let it like take off

[00:35:20] um but we did have some good moments I mean I think the doctor pretending to be Jane way and

[00:35:26] then that dramatic death of hers was very doctor right who I mean it it was doing very well

[00:35:35] at first because I thought it was the admiral and then I was sitting pretending death those like

[00:35:39] oh yeah well you're like you don't well I mean she's she's named dropped in Picard so you know

[00:35:46] still around yeah you don't you don't know what again it's trek what what events could

[00:35:52] happen between now and then to break it back and then in the knee starts talking after he's supposed

[00:35:57] to be dead right right right but this is where a senseia she's just staring at her instead of

[00:36:07] being like what the heck it took her a second before she realized what was going on

[00:36:14] and like I said she's so blinded by her her anger and her hate for whatever reason that caused

[00:36:20] this for her to go down that path she just she misses this most simplest little things because

[00:36:26] even when the doctor was like bye bye and that was when her her guards were like uh solemn is

[00:36:36] they're they're not listening to you anymore right the people are now

[00:36:40] rebel yeah this is yeah this is where the this civil war starts kicking off right exactly

[00:36:44] yeah because Elpharon goes on and is like do not listen to her you know and she's like oh crap

[00:36:50] I'm losing I'm losing my my gain here well it's it's it's interesting now because they

[00:36:57] they were trying to prevent contact with the Federation to stop civil war yes

[00:37:04] right but she's ignited it by uniting a good chunk of the populist against her

[00:37:11] instead yeah and you know in her her rage she still sees it as the Federation's fault

[00:37:21] yeah of course because as they do and this is where you really start to see her downfall

[00:37:29] because as they all do escape you know Wesley and Chicote had a moment because Chicote was like

[00:37:35] I'm sorry it was a little hard on you back at Sick Bay but I'm a little he's like you did save me so

[00:37:39] thank you and but you know for Wes he was just like this is hard for me because I haven't done

[00:37:46] this in a while he's like I just have to he has to learn to have faith instead of just knowing

[00:37:51] how things are going to play out so he had to really just kind of change his perception on things

[00:37:58] but when they all get back on the ship they're just like okay let's go we got to stop her

[00:38:03] when you're you know when you're when you that powerful of a of a being too you start to

[00:38:09] feel like you can rely on just yourself you don't need to rely on other people because you

[00:38:13] can do at least incredible things right so now that he's kind of brought down to

[00:38:19] you know our level or you know his old old old school Wesley level

[00:38:24] you've got to it's like learning to to walk all over the end right he's got to

[00:38:29] yeah to learn learn how to do it again and and and trust others too kind of pull their

[00:38:36] pull their weight on their own and help them figure things out right yeah and I think this is why

[00:38:42] the clip I'm about to show for the next episode now that the episode I'm not sure if I'm

[00:38:51] a little bit okay well what is wrong with it but yeah we'll just

[00:39:00] run with that this clip is where I wanted to show because it's showing him work as a team

[00:39:06] Chico T was lost in an unstable warm hole on the protestors meeting board where it was

[00:39:12] flung randomly through space and time to the Delta Quadrant over solo to a future

[00:39:17] 52 years from now but when the protestors were sent back through that same warm hole

[00:39:23] it crash landed on Tazlamura in the past and an unknown date where Dalan I discovered it

[00:39:29] however many years later even if we knew that date which we don't the warm holes on

[00:39:35] predictability makes closing the time loop a variable shot in the dark

[00:39:40] oh too many unexpected variables there's something we're not seeing don't close your mind

[00:39:48] so this is what's interesting is that how he was trying to say time and space and thought

[00:39:53] that is the most important thing and he was able to use that to his advantage because he had powers

[00:40:00] but he had to use thought in a different way to try and open up the horizons of how are we going to

[00:40:07] get the protestor exactly where it needs to be right so it's kind of circling back to where he was

[00:40:16] before we use it like open your minds guys use your thought to so we can get to where we need to go

[00:40:21] but in this case they're using their mind in science trying to figure out where they possibly

[00:40:28] think that everything's at so I thought that was a very nice full circle moment for Wesley

[00:40:35] and especially because he also had to work with everybody else that is in science and they're all

[00:40:39] working together so I like to that he's he's not even just kind of coaching himself through it but

[00:40:46] also these younger starfleet kid at aged kids right yeah teach them also to you know

[00:40:54] he I've got to learn this let's learn how to do this together kind of a attitude right

[00:41:00] yeah and he's passing that knowledge too because he's been through what they've gone through

[00:41:05] he went to starfleet Academy he was an actor and then he went through all this stuff on the

[00:41:09] enterprise so he's passing on all that stuff that he learned just like Janeway said in the previous

[00:41:14] episode I needed to be starfleet Wes and she's like and I heard you were a damn good one right so

[00:41:21] it's like I really need that moment for for that this is where I think I think you said it last week

[00:41:29] when I showed you the photo that I picked this is the episode where they're all just standing there

[00:41:34] all looking like you know and it be Avengers assembled this is the moment and so

[00:41:40] this is where they're like all right protostar crew let's go we're gonna do this because

[00:41:46] after they do they have to get together and they do split off because there's a handful right now

[00:41:52] the sencia it was like what Jacob down in Glen and Merff and then here's zero major in rock with

[00:42:01] Wesley and then of course Chicote as with Janeway so they're all doing what they're supposed to be

[00:42:07] doing right they're all doing their strengths the thing with the sencia is and they got excited that's

[00:42:13] like game the wormhole has been has been opened but then just trying to figure out how to send it

[00:42:20] and how to figure it out is where they were stumped but I think you know when it comes down to all of

[00:42:28] this they just as much as Wesley was saying you all have to stick together they're sticking together

[00:42:36] in a different way too that I'd not sure Wesley put together right because they're all using their

[00:42:44] strengths and even though they were all separated it was all connecting the dots they all had to be

[00:42:49] in those certain moments so I think we're getting making all the pieces kind of fall into place

[00:42:55] exactly exactly now I did want to mention so we see the portal weapon here and I don't think

[00:43:09] I clocked it before that this was the same portal weapon from Picard season three I should have but

[00:43:16] this is where oh thank you you're forbidden enough because I've all the credit because I was like

[00:43:27] okay it's like yeah so she created the portal weapon that ends up going to the

[00:43:36] institute and then and then the change lanes get it okay yeah yeah yeah

[00:43:46] all together yeah so watch me realize this in real time folks that's

[00:43:53] this is gonna be my clip of the sneak I usually held the great so a lot of stuff like that and it

[00:43:57] didn't even what's funny is there just before this or just after this did it complete

[00:44:03] Picard season three we were I think it would have thought it would have been fresh on my mind but

[00:44:43] like it's actually up because he's talking to all the grand but she's just he's just like you

[00:44:48] have me like this whole time like what did I do you like it off right off but it was sad because

[00:44:56] she's like I have to forget all this in order for us to work and she's like and I don't want to

[00:45:02] you know and I was like oh yeah she's going through all this and they're gonna have to

[00:45:07] strip her of her memories you know she probably felt more closer to you know being as uh I don't want

[00:45:15] to say like like the doctor right the more experienced the doctor got the more he he going

[00:45:22] beyond his programming and so with she they were gonna take that away from her right they're

[00:45:26] yeah so I was like what's almost like the person that she's become to that point like if you

[00:45:35] kind of you know reset her back to factory settings like she kind of ceases to exist right it's

[00:45:42] just yeah it's a different person yeah and it's like the same thing with humans right like it

[00:45:47] would it's scary to think of somebody lose you know getting like complete amnesia and forgetting

[00:45:51] everything and it's all they feel like they've just lost who they were completely really

[00:45:56] already know over you know and then everything that you go through is gonna make you into a different

[00:46:01] person and not the person you were before because with the summer some of our experiences right so

[00:46:07] exactly exactly so I thought that was interesting now of course we were going back and forth

[00:46:13] between Gwen's fight with the sincere and merciful with uh I keep forgetting general grievances

[00:46:23] same ones oh dreadnought it's going dreadnought it's a much cooler name than general grievous

[00:46:29] come on it will so sorry I had 20 years to remember that name versus this one thank you but

[00:46:38] just watch this episode yesterday I actually watched it today but I don't think they said his name

[00:46:44] so that's why I think it's a finish so they're fighting and things are going on and of course

[00:46:54] Jacob and Dall are trying to get the wormhole to to open and we think Merch dies again they pull

[00:47:03] a fast one on us he falls down I love Zena Zena's one of my favorite shows and there is an episode

[00:47:10] where Gabrielle falls over a pit and goes into like lava or some some fire thing and Zena

[00:47:18] was watching this right so she's seeing Gabrielle fall down with with hope and you think Gabrielle dies

[00:47:23] this was that same moment you see Merch going down with did not and he's a Jacob looking down like

[00:47:30] no and I was like they better not hurt Merch but now they didn't hurt Merch was fine

[00:47:35] he's like Merch was good virtually indestructible but you never know I mean so are jellyfish but

[00:47:42] the moment they're out of the water they're gone like you never know I think he's a little more resilient

[00:47:47] than jellyfish though well they're squishy and you know as you have it does he have a brain

[00:47:54] because jellyfish don't I think Merch is definitely a lot smarter than jellyfish I'm just going to say

[00:48:00] yeah now with Gwen's fight though I mean that was interesting because a scency it was using her

[00:48:08] heirloom and Gwen was weak because she was feeling she was getting pulled apart in time

[00:48:18] so you kind of just see a scency I just like I want all this power and you're not going to take it away

[00:48:25] right but she didn't understand the power she didn't understand just how this was going to hurt her

[00:48:33] hurt everybody around her she it she she lost all thought of how this was gonna go down she had

[00:48:41] in them all she had no endgame she had no idea what she was doing the entire just wanted I wanted

[00:48:46] to control that was just a lot of things and kill everyone that's exactly so when she sees

[00:48:54] everyone go against her because they do have powers right and they were all there for Gwen whether

[00:48:59] how what was the saying that they said like oh I can't remember what they said but they all helped

[00:49:07] Gwen fight against scency to the point that a scency is power basically fizzled out

[00:49:15] you know and it was just interesting how that how that went how that went down

[00:49:21] so she because and I'm wondering if the fact that her

[00:49:26] younger self going against her might have also played a part of her fizzling out because

[00:49:33] it's taken away what she already had does that make sense no but that's okay

[00:49:42] it is too time you why me for you I'm sorry it's it yeah it's it's it's a lot but

[00:49:50] there's two different essencia's there so it's just I'm wondering if that played a part where

[00:49:55] her younger self going against her is what just kind of just changed her her future her future

[00:50:00] self right so well this is kind of that moment that we were mentioning earlier was

[00:50:08] yeah wouldn't her decision to not become that person change things and I think we've we've hit that

[00:50:13] point now right yeah I think so um now of course the catalyst of it of course this is where

[00:50:23] and I'm just gonna kind of jump right into this part too because it just kind of continues right

[00:50:29] so she loses her power and everything while the looms starts to show up and that's where she

[00:50:35] clicks and goes what have I done right that was the moment where she's like oh crap

[00:50:43] I I actually just made it worse than what I was fighting against so she instantly regrets it

[00:50:52] and everyone just starts jumping into action trying to you know because this loom was like oh

[00:50:59] you guys are made a much bigger hold and you realize that we're about to we we need to feed

[00:51:04] we need to eat they were they were definitely hungry and so you know Wesley was

[00:51:09] freaked out he was like it's too soon they weren't supposed to be here but I think because

[00:51:14] they had split off it changed the trajectory where there were going so that's why they came sooner than

[00:51:19] expected so that's where Wesley had to think on his feet and try to figure it out and everybody did

[00:51:25] so that was just a lot going on this point I was just like Eltherong was gonna die to be honest yeah

[00:51:35] it was this it was starting to get very break neck at this point because you're yeah

[00:51:40] you're bouncing back and forth between all the events that are happening and you know I think we're

[00:51:46] on the final episode now yes this is the final one yeah so you know trying to wrap up

[00:51:54] this is a lose higher season in in in this and then of course lay the groundwork for

[00:52:01] hopefully more hopefully more I did like how Wesley you know because they had decided okay

[00:52:08] how are we going to get the photo star through this mess and needs to be you know someone has to

[00:52:16] have to drive it basically and so they were trying to figure out so the Chicote and all of them

[00:52:19] were gonna stay on the photo star Voyager would be in amount last minute cool I remember when I think

[00:52:27] was Chicote that said it to Wesley and he's like you don't have to stay and he's all like no I

[00:52:35] put the phone this path I need to stay here right he was willing to even sacrifice himself because

[00:52:42] he didn't know what was gonna happen to make sure that they were taken care of and then of course

[00:52:48] I did like his conversation with Dow where Dow was all like you were right we were all supposed to

[00:52:53] gather so we can get to this moment he's like oh Dow you're so funny he's like I'm not talking

[00:52:58] about now yeah we ain't there yet brother we're not there yet and Dow's like huh I thought

[00:53:10] that was great now of course Voyager was fighting against the loom trying to get through so then

[00:53:15] a star can make their way through and they lose navigation and who do they go to? Jillian!

[00:53:25] So Jillian the whale saves the day. I absolutely adore that Bonnie not only you know playing the

[00:53:36] ships computer but you know she got to be the translator of the whale so yeah that was definitely

[00:53:47] a fun fun little moment but it was very quick like this first 10 minutes if that maybe less than

[00:53:54] 10 minutes it was like boom boom boom boom boom like we got to get this done because they had

[00:54:00] continued for how the rest of the show is gonna be so um of course they decided to do a

[00:54:08] copy of hollow Janeway so then they could you know get the protostar to go they ended up doing it

[00:54:15] and I have a couple clips I did some clips a little differently this time because I felt this

[00:54:23] was important to showcase and I I loved it I think it was great because the moment they were

[00:54:31] able to get through the loom and set the protostar on its way they gave us this.

[00:54:40] To keep this re-attacked the ship was exactly as it was when they found it on Tars the War on

[00:56:47] just to get to this moment right this was the moment they went through all that and

[00:56:53] like I said I'm a winner I love putting videos together I love creating stories that way and that's

[00:56:59] that's it that's top notch recapped clipping all of it right there and I absolutely adored it

[00:57:06] and it was just really nice because then even after that they show back to the first episode

[00:57:11] we're rocking down find it she sees the combat presses at the whole like it's all starting all over again

[00:57:18] I was so excited about that I was like that was so well done that that combatge piece was

[00:57:25] such a nice touch too like totally forgot about it until when Dow was like wait just one more thing

[00:57:33] and then he takes it and I'm like oh yeah right because they found that right away

[00:57:38] as he remembered and he used to flip of it and I'm like holy cow that was yeah it was really

[00:57:45] they did it so well they tied everything up in a little bow there and I think the reason that

[00:57:50] it also felt emotional and I hate to say it and I don't want it to be true but it's almost like

[00:57:56] that little montage was done with series finale feel in mind and right in case you know

[00:58:05] usually it's it's finale you know like all good things kind of made you that emotional when you see

[00:58:09] yeah you know especially at the end where they're all around the the poker table right

[00:58:14] for the first time was prepared and that just seeing all that and I love the that quick rewind

[00:58:20] right at the end of it right was was so well done so it was good seeing yeah it was it was really

[00:58:28] good and then of course you know they start to show that there's now peace on solemn you know

[00:58:36] Janeway decides to retire the kids are going to start flated academy like everything is

[00:58:40] set in motion and this is why I waited because guys it is the reunion we've all been waiting for

[00:58:48] and I was so excited and I had to use the best for that. I'm on. Wesley I'm sorry I know it's been a while

[00:58:56] I thought where are you? I'm here mom the universe always needs me and I don't know how long

[00:59:14] I can I can stay in this reality uh before you disappear again I want you to meet someone

[00:59:23] you'll grow there stick a fork of me I'm done thank you have a nice night

[00:59:33] here is the killer everyone I have died I was so excited I was so excited I was like yes

[00:59:43] this is exactly what we wanted to see we wanted to know did he ever see Jack we wanted to know

[00:59:49] did she ever see him prior to season three of the card which is why I was saying season three

[00:59:54] of the cards now extra sad because I think that was the last time she saw him I have a little question

[01:00:01] we heard Jack giggling right he clearly is he's having some fun he's playing with some toys

[01:00:07] you think he's he's talking to the board because here because remember here's think and season three

[01:00:14] she had said when he was so little he couldn't sleep right because he had nightmares and then

[01:00:21] she was telling Picard that he had imaginary friends and so I was thinking that he was probably

[01:00:28] talking to his imaginary friends which is probably the board at that very time you just you made it

[01:00:35] such a nice moment almost kind of creepy yeah actually I won't lie I kind of like that

[01:00:44] that headkin and there I love it actually it's running with it it's the boarder's lady right

[01:00:50] they should be and that makes it that's a whole new level of the heck I love it love it

[01:00:59] you're well good but I love it not your Jack but I mean because she was saying how little he

[01:01:04] was he had imaginary friends you know and all this stuff and so all you hear is him giggling

[01:01:09] playing we don't know what he was playing with and typically when you're okay with the imaginary

[01:01:14] friends and you're with your toys that's that's what you're doing you're talking to yourself right

[01:01:20] you're playing with yourself so yeah it kind of it kind of hit me in that direction but I did

[01:01:27] want to show a clip of my interview with Aaron because he does specifically talk about that moment

[01:01:34] where where Wesley sees Jack for the first time and then when Jack came into the picture we were

[01:01:39] what we have to have Jack there just like but if what what's you know it reminded us it just

[01:01:46] sort of like if you know if you have a relative who's like in the military or something and then

[01:01:52] comes home meet a young one for the first time and felt very poetic to us you know from a

[01:02:00] production standpoint we didn't have the money to build a Jack model as a toddler yeah but we were

[01:02:06] actually I think it would be even even more beautiful if you stay on Wesley's face and

[01:02:12] the excitement yeah as he sees what what he's been missing and meet meets Jack for the first time

[01:02:20] and you can really hear the emotion in in gates and wills voices as they act out this scene that

[01:02:27] that clearly they have been thinking about you know for a while you know it was a beautiful

[01:02:34] scene and beautifully acted and directed Aaron gets it man a guy he understands he's very you know

[01:02:41] I love that both the animated track shows that we got this and lower decks or we're you know

[01:02:47] this and you know lured x by Mike McMahon both shows are done by somebody that

[01:02:54] gets it they understand the franchise and they they love it with their whole whole heart right so

[01:03:01] you can you can see that in him and his point about you know the emotion again this is another

[01:03:06] that was another scene where you could you could hear it with Wesley that I'm here mom like just the

[01:03:13] way he says it like you can almost hear that he's choking up but he's he's like right like yeah

[01:03:19] it's it's so good like gates gas you know that part I was like man this is so good

[01:03:25] and I like that he said that you know he would be kind of played it out like the scene of those

[01:03:30] those videos of people you know coming from the military or whatever that you see all the time

[01:03:35] and surprising them and that was really good but you know I do think that the the decision to keep

[01:03:42] the camera on on Wesley's face when he sees Jack for the first time was was the right decision

[01:03:47] because I mean we've seen Jack we know what he looks like we don't need to see him as as a toddler

[01:03:52] kind of what the same I mean I wouldn't like to but I get it all about the monies

[01:04:03] but emotionally the impact is is there more by by seeing that look on Wesley's face and you know

[01:04:12] this is what I'm missing you know and he touches on that bit and and coat it as well right with

[01:04:19] not being around to see Renee grow up as well right so right yeah it was really well then

[01:04:25] I just really enjoyed the whole arc of this all because then it it was again we were talking

[01:04:31] about how Wesley had to go back to his old roots and so he goes back to his mom where it's like all

[01:04:36] began right and um I don't know I I was so stoked I know a lot of people were very excited about

[01:04:45] all this and of course we're thinking everything's all hunky dory you know the kids are

[01:04:50] as carefully to academy everything's going good but unfortunately red alert breaking news and of

[01:04:58] course this is where we had to point out because this was the same background that we saw on season one

[01:05:06] of a card and of course you're the one that pointed out it's first contact A yeah well that was

[01:05:14] be for yes because that that banner was in the background before the the news alert was up

[01:05:21] and I I'm right I took a quick picture of an ice sent to tune I was like oh my god Jesse

[01:05:27] it's for fun yeah I was like what is is is is is the Mars attack about to happen and then

[01:05:34] it did and I thought that it was such a big it's such a good job of catching you know this show up

[01:05:41] to the beginning of the first point yeah and then knowing that if we get a season three it would

[01:05:47] be concurrent with the effect of the aftermath the withdrawal yeah the withdrawal of the

[01:05:56] the separation for the Romulan evacuation right we're shown a Picard retiring all of everything

[01:06:03] fallen apart and the thing was is that I had a feeling they were going to do about the Mars attack

[01:06:09] but I did not though they were going to do it on first contact A I did not notice it it was you

[01:06:13] that broke the news to me and I was like oh my gosh and I started freaking out as I think I

[01:06:18] stopped having these these federal holiday celebrations because they know the board attacked on

[01:06:25] frontier day yeah on the card and so yeah it was absolutely insane but I also wanted to showcase

[01:06:31] because you wanted to show a uniform which was the same one that we saw with Picard

[01:06:42] fantastic in that uniform you looked really really great they did a great job animating

[01:06:48] animating that yeah I do like those uniforms I really liked the like the 2399

[01:06:55] Picard uniforms that's the ones after them right these ones I liked but I didn't they never

[01:07:02] kind of grew on me just because they were just in the flashback but I think since season one has air

[01:07:07] and I've become I've come to like these uniforms more and more yeah as time goes on

[01:07:13] and I again I think they look they look fantastic animated I think it it just all kind of

[01:07:20] came together especially with you know what we're seeing because in a Picard was also pissed off

[01:07:25] because the fact that he had to withdraw from from the evacuation I did also want to show this

[01:09:55] now and since they'll have to keep so yeah this was a good setup like you said that recap was kind

[01:10:01] of like a in case if this is a series finale because they're not really sure but they do

[01:10:08] set it up nicely just in case that you know they could still tell more stories which is what we want

[01:10:13] yeah did they knew they weren't they weren't renewed for a third season when they were finishing

[01:10:17] up this season I believe so yeah I mean they had already known that you know they were

[01:10:24] done with season two in everything and then they got the news about paramount dropping them so

[01:10:28] they weren't sure how they were going to show season two so season three really hasn't been

[01:10:33] it's still kind of like up in the air I think too though with this that that recap that they did

[01:10:40] it was also a good tie tie away because like season one in season two that stories over

[01:10:46] yeah that was me going on to the next story right so that was kind of they're also

[01:10:50] goodbye to that story in that pretty little bow and then moving on to the next story that they

[01:10:55] wanted you which I kind of like because as as great of a story as it was and I mean this

[01:11:02] and the nicest possible way but I'm kind of sick of solemn I'm ready to move on to

[01:11:07] right something else right like yeah yeah but but I feel it's definitely run its course

[01:11:12] story's done yeah let's let's move on you I don't think there's much more to it and again

[01:11:18] it's not that you wouldn't want you know check in now and then to see you know because one

[01:11:22] believe characters on the show would you know has ties to solemn so you know you want Gwen

[01:11:28] checking in with younger ascencia and and seeing how things are going and her dad obviously too right

[01:11:35] so and we can get the little updates every few episodes through that way instead of it kind

[01:11:41] of just being so focused on on solemn yeah exactly you know because these characters have now

[01:11:47] grown with everything they've gone through with not only solemn but the time travel and everything

[01:11:52] even Janeway and Chicote and everything he went through so and now they have to now go through

[01:11:58] this with the Mars attacks and the Federation Beast just so then but let's go ahead and get into the

[01:12:05] team. By Trike it was a landslide 81% that they just loved to final to it you know a couple

[01:12:18] people voting for ascension part two, Frank and touch your grade but no everyone was like nope I don't

[01:12:25] focus those and that was just really like the big ending and that's why it was so good and so

[01:12:30] done well and then it was also time then with the card that it was just there's just so much fun

[01:12:37] I could watch it over and over again and I will I could watch that scene but then probably

[01:12:43] mostly over and over again but we did definitely just got everything in place. You know there's

[01:12:51] always that big discussion after a season of trek ends you wear the season finale stack up first

[01:12:57] is other season finale and I think this one is is a little higher on the list than then quite

[01:13:04] few other ones so exactly I think this is certainly a top tier season finale it was so well done

[01:13:11] it's emotional it does a good job of wrapping everything up and then also teasing what could come

[01:13:18] right and then what's to come you know not just wrapping up the the prodigy season one two

[01:13:23] story of you know the whole song situation but just you know that tying it right into season one

[01:13:32] of a card was just it was perfect I think it was really well done yeah but I think this season

[01:13:39] did trek very well it's definitely up there what season three of a card I thoroughly enjoyed

[01:13:45] I could binge it all the time I think they ended it very very well I think Aaron and Aaron in the team

[01:13:52] they they understood the assignment they understood the assignment and they outdid themselves I think

[01:13:58] I think they they were like oh we're here and actually they were like they went up here

[01:14:04] and just by our reaction even I think Aaron was just like yeah we were gearing to you know

[01:14:09] just for the Wesleyan Beverly of it all he was like we were gearing towards the Crusher fans

[01:14:13] and he's like I'm glad we made you happy we're like we're beyond happy like you made our life like

[01:14:20] it's just this is what we were asking for this is what we wanted and it was going to be in

[01:14:25] works we just didn't know it so but yeah I think this was this was done very very well

[01:14:33] definitely you have anything to add at the end of this I was just going to say it's probably

[01:14:38] I would say that you know of of of of the seasons of trek that have come out since

[01:14:45] trek's return in 2017 I think this one's this one's pretty up there the whole season I think is

[01:14:53] top here right up there with I think season three of the card is it was in just hard

[01:15:00] that they tied in it was like DS9 TNG Voyager they were tying in so many different shows

[01:15:07] I mean even mentioned discovery when Wesley was talking about time yeah you know

[01:15:12] like in the middle of your meal network you know all of it they literally brought an

[01:15:18] every show that was created in trek and even the movies we got the whales like you know it was just

[01:15:24] and it wasn't shoehorned it was in for a reason hey they were all little settle

[01:15:32] settle references and and not it's it wasn't fan service like that face kind of no not just
